Hello FORWARD Members, 

First, we want to thank you for being an active member of FORWARD! We know you joined this amazing group of professionals so that we can rise to the challenges before us and move FORWARD together!

One of the amazing ways we do that is with our monthly Intentional Networking events.

But what is Intentional Networking exactly?

Intentional Networking is so much more than introducing yourself. It’s a very dynamic experience that will provide you with thought provoking insight on whatever topic or question is at the forefront of your professional life right now.

Intentional Networking is a little bit like a mini-mastermind. Members of FORWARD come to the session with one challenge topic or question to discuss and utilize the momentum of a masterminding method. Some examples of topics include brainstorming or asking for feedback/advice about your work with a client, growing your business, or other challenges you may be facing.

And if you don't have a challenge or question, just come to participate! The Intentional Networking sessions are so dynamic and empowering that they will leave you with new ideas and fresh perspectives even if you didn’t come with a question.

Here’s how to prepare for an Intentional Networking session:

  1. Find the dates and times for Intentional Networking sessions that work for you. These can be found in the weekly FORWARD newsletter that goes out on Tuesday mornings or in the Announcements & Live Events section of the online FORWARD dashboard after you log in here.
  2. [Optional] Come prepared with one professional question or challenge that you are experiencing right now. Think about a challenge, question, or goal in your professional life and write it down to share with the group.
  3. Come ready to participate! After you’re registered, add the date to your calendar and join up with other FORWARD Members from around the globe for a lightly structured networking hour.
