A Note From the Instructor, Leigh Ann Rodgers...
I wish I’d known what I know now back when I was promoted to my first management position many moons ago… I was eager to be a great leader and while I did try hard, I didn’t know what I didn’t know. Since that time, every time I’ve led a new team, I’ve experienced some growing pains at the beginning and had opportunities to practice and build new skills. I don’t develop alone, I consistently seek excellent training and coaching that propels me to develop faster than I could ever do by myself.
Over the past 20+ years I’ve continued to educate myself and put into practice a combination of leadership and communication skills to build a successful business. I’ve trained and coached leaders of all levels, and facilitated countless team building workshops as a Certified Professional Facilitator. Each and every interaction has been a growth opportunity which I take to my next engagement.
My mission today is to encourage, inspire, and inform you about key ways you, as a leader, can speed up your own professional development journey. I want you to have insights about how you can assess your team and yourself to identify your next steps… ultimately leading to fulfillment because you know you are providing value to others.
